Registration Pre-Requisites

• APPLICABLE ONLY FOR WORK PERMIT AND S-PASS HOLDERS.
• At least 18 years old.
• Learners must be able to pass the eyesight and colour-blindness tests.

Important Notes

• You can enrol online. Account and fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Eye-sight test is required before you can book Basic Theory Test (BTT) online and apply for your eProvisional Driving Licence (ePDL*). After you have enroled online, please check your Inbox/Spam/Junk folder for the email confirmation to book an eye-sight test appointment.
• You can only book BTT online after you have passed the eye-sight test at the Customer Service Counter.
• You only need to pass BTT for conversion. The approval will be subjected to the Traffic Police approval. Once you have passed BTT, please proceed to the Traffic Police Headquarter at 10 Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore 408865 for conversion.
• For change of FIN to NRIC number, you are required to update Traffic Police and our centre before your test. Otherwise, you will be disqualified from taking your BTT

*ePDL is required for practical training and Traffic Police Practical Test to be eligible to drive a Class 3/3A commercial vehicle.

Fees

Motorcar Training Videos ($1.64 per viewing)

The videos can be viewed on a pay-per-view basis only.

Upon successful registration, learners may purchase our Motorcar Training Videos (‘videos’) as an additional training resource on a pay-per-view basis.

The videos are produced based on the subjects in CDC’s Class 3/3A practical curriculum. There are 21 manual car videos and 19 automatic car videos.

Additional e-trial test ($13.08 per session)

The e-Trial provides learners with practice in topics in BTT. This enables learners to enhance their knowledge of the BTT curriculum.

Each session of e-Trial is 50-minute and learners are allowed to attempt up to 2-set of papers per session.

e-Trial is available both in the classroom and online. For classroom, you must make a booking in advance. Online e-Trial can be assessed through your mobile phone or computer.

Booking of classroom e-Trial can be made via myCDC or online booking portal.  Unutilised e-Trial sessions will not be refunded.

Internal Evaluation ($11.99 – Off peak per session/$13.08 – Peak per session)

The IE is a mock test of the actual Traffic Police Theory Test (ie BTT, FTT). Attempting the IE helps to boost the passing rate.

Private learners who wish to attempt the IE will have to book an IE session via the booking portal. To do so, please click on ‘Internal Evaluation’ on the left hand menu.

The fee* for the IE session is $11.99 (off peak session) and $12.96 (peak session). During the 50 minute session, learners will be able to attempt one IE paper. The IE can be attempted onsite at CDC only.

Account Renewal Fee ($13.08 for 6-month renewal)

If the account expires more than 5 days, an additional charge of $5.45 (w/GST) to reactivate the account will be imposed. The new date will commence from the date of renewal.
