Course Objectives:
The course is designed to upskill novice (or new) and refresher (or qualified) drivers’ knowledge of vehicular operations and driving under adverse road situations in Singapore. The classroom session will also focus on planning and navigating rides as well as learning fundamental techniques in defensive driving. The in-vehicle session will enable participants to familiarise driving under dynamic conditions in built-up area, multi-storey car park, school zone, commercial/ industrial area, Expressway and Tunnel. The course aims to increase participant’s awareness of driver’s responsibilities towards other road users.
Suitable For:
New and Qualified Class 3 (manual) and Class 3A (auto) drivers
Course Content:
- Vehicle Orientation
- Pre-Drive Road Worthiness Checks
- Navigating Your Drive with Google Maps
- Responding to Adverse (or Emergency) Situations on Road
- Fundamentals of Defensive Driving

Language: This course is available in English or Mandarin.
Pre-Requisition: You need to hold a valid motorcar (Class 3 Manual or Class 3A Auto) driving licence.
